For Your Consideration: We are asking you to sponsor Jay Selthofner from Selthofner Consulting in his efforts to cover the 2026 election coverage cycle. Your financial support allows him to continue with this important work of educating voters, industry stakeholders and lawmakers alike.

The purpose of this ongoing project is to create and maintain a detailed database of legislation authored, voting records and public statements from Wisconsin elected officials and candidates for public office stances on cannabis reform. This on-going data base is used in a variety of ways with activists, industry stakeholders and serves as the ground work election campaign data for direct political action.

During the election season, Jay does research on candidates and personally contacts them to have a cannabis conversation. Jay uses a variety of techniques, including asking candidates to complete a questionnaire to obtain and create public information on these candidates. Ultimately Jay compiles this information into action oriented articles on his websites (JaySelthofner.com) (Wiscocan.org).

The database, content created and sponsorship information will remain permanently archived on the websites for as long as they exist.
