2026 Election Coverage Sponsors Needed
I’ve been in Wisconsin’s hemp and cannabis space for over 15 years. Our farm, Heritage Hemp Farm, was the 2nd farm in Wisconsin to successfully harvest hemp after years of prohibition. My family and I bought a building in Ripon, Wisconsin (The Birthplace of the Republican Party – in fact, the museum is in sight of our building) to serve as our activism headquarters and on my 51st birthday we opened a retail hemp cannabis dispensary. Our buzz phrase is that our store is a dispensary experience with a farm store twist.
Since 2009, I’ve dedicated myself to cannabis advocacy, education, and legislative engagement through in person volunteerism and through my platforms at WiscoJay.com (JaySelthofner.com) and WiscoCan.org. Those who know me, know that this is my passion and I am an encyclopedia of everything cannabis in Wisconsin.
Every election cycle, I produce in-depth, nonpartisan cannabis-focused election coverage—an important resource for voters, businesses, and policymakers. You can see the current sponsorship program here:

As more companies approach me about carrying their products in my retail shop and online at HeritageHempFarm.com, and TheStonersTravelGuide.com, I’m looking to build partnerships that strengthen both sides of the movement. I offer a simple, mutually beneficial opportunity:
How the partnership works:
Your Contribution:
– Sponsor my election coverage by providing product in trade (instead of cash)
– These products will also be featured and resold in my store and online
– If sales are strong, we’ll place reorders as needed
Your Benefits:
– Full sponsorship perks listed in the election coverage package
– Brand exposure to highly engaged, cannabis-focused audiences
– Increased visibility across my platforms and statewide advocacy networks
– Product placement in store and online
– Alignment with one of Wisconsin’s longest-standing cannabis reform voices
This model allows us to support each other: you help fuel ongoing cannabis advocacy and election transparency, and in return your brand receives premium visibility and a retail footprint.
If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to discuss next steps and learn more about the products you’d like us to carry.
Thank you for considering a partnership—and for being part of the growing hemp and cannabis community here in Wisconsin.
